I went shoe shopping the other day and happened to come across these beauts.  I know the trend nowadays is bright neon colors but I’m not that flashy of a guy, or rather, don’t really want to be.  While I  may one day buy some Mark McNairy shoes, I’ll just use these for now.

The Cole Haans shown here are a nice slate/blue/grey wingtip oxford with red shoelaces, for a bit of extra flair.   They go nicely with a pair of raw denim selvedge jeans, rolled up cuff of course.  It doesn’t hurt that there is Nike Air Technology in the sole, so one can comfortably wear these all day.  Also, they are pretty stain resistant, as I have worn these to numerous bars, and alcohol did not seem to faze them.  I look forward to wearing these all winter and spring.
